The Fitness Camp 1st season ended successfully
December 26th, 2011The Fitness Camp (TFC). A program organized by Aymstrong has launched its first season successfully on December 17th/2011 with 22 participants. The project is very unique and is considered a revolution in the fitness industry in Kuwait. Due to the atmosphere in the sessions and its uniquely designed training sessions such as; TFC Army Session, TFC Beach Session, TFC Cardio Session, and more.

“We created The Fitness Camp because most fitness programs are boring and going to gym has become very unlikely to give you results. You need a fitness trainer with you, and a gym that is close by, and then you need to find the time to do all of this together. Luminox Watches by Yacob Behbehani Sons Co. sponsors the 200K RunKuwait Journey and becomes a Silver sponsor for the event. The 5 Runners of the event will each be wearing a Luminox watch during the run.

يشارك البنك في هذه المبادرة الأولى من نوعها والتي تهدف إلى زيادة التوعية المجتمعية بمخاطر السمنة وغيرها من الامراض وذلك للتشجيع على الحياة الصحية
مدينة الكويت، ديسمبر ١١ /٢٠١١: أعلن بنك برقان اليوم عن رعايته البلاتينية لرحلة “نركض للكويت” والذي تعتبر تحدياً للجري لمسافة 200 كم من الحدود الشمالية للكويت وحتى الحدود الجنوبية لها. ويرأس هذا الحدث يوسف القناعي وفريق آيم سترونغ حيث ستتم فعالياته في أيام احتفال الكويت بالعيد الوطني والتحرير في 25 و26 فبراير 2012. وتضم لائحة المشاركين كلاً من جعفر العلي، لاعب في نادي الكويت الرياضي وفريق لآيمسترونج، ومحمد المطر، ضابط من الجيش الكويتي وبدر العجيل، عداء ناشئ.
ويعد يوسف القناعي مؤسس هذا المشروع الشبابي تحت اسم آيم ستورنغ حيث أطلق هذه الفكرة ضمن اهتمامه لتشجيع روح التحدي والعزيمة والتوحد على الهدف بين الشباب الكويتي. ومن المتوقع أن يتم إنهاء رحلة الجري هذه خلال 2-3 أيام الذي يشارك فيها من 5 -7 عدائين ترتكز رسالتهم على تشجيع أسلوب الحياة الصحية بين جميع أفراد المجتمع. هذا وسيتوقف العدائون في منتصف الرحلة تحديداً عند ابراج الكويت وذلك لإستقبال الراغبين في الإنضمام لهذه المبادرة المتميزة ويتجهوا جميعاً نحو مارينا مول.
ويقدم البنك لموظفيه ضمن هذه الرعاية البلاتينية خصماً قدره 25% في برامج ومبادرات آيم سترونغ القادمة والتي تتضمن تنظيم مخيماً خاصاً لتخفيف الوزن في الكويت، وكذلك إقامة مخيم خاص للرشاقة واللياقة البدنية في الكويت أيضاً. ويمكن لموظفي بنك برقان فرصة الحضور في مخيم اللياقة البدنية ثلاث مرات والمشاركة في جلسات التدريب الجماعية للتخلص من الوزن الزائد. كما سيكون هناك يوم خاص بالرشاقة لموظفي البنك في الكلية الاسترالية في الكويت.

The bank participates in this first of a kind cause that seeks national health awareness against obesity and other prevailing diseases for the betterment of the local community
Kuwait City, 11 December, 2011: Burgan Bank announced today that it will be the platinum sponsor of RunKuwait journey, a 200 Km self-sufficiency journey from the Northern to the Southern borders of Kuwait. RunKuwait, headed by Yousef al Qanai and the Aymstrong team is scheduled to take place on the Kuwaiti National Days, 25th and 26th of February 2012, and will include several participants such as Jaafar Al Ali, athlete in Kuwait National Club and the Aymstrong team of athletes, Mohammed Al Mutar, member in the Kuwait Army, and Bader Al Ajeel, a runner.
Yousef Al Qanai, Runner and Founder of Aymstrong Enterprises pioneered the idea of this event as an effort to promote a sense of determination, and unity within the society and amongst Kuwait’s youth. The journey will take an estimated time of between 2 to 3 days to complete with 5 -7 runners participating in this journey towards leading a healthier and wholesome lifestyle. Participants will meet half way the distance, precisely near the Kuwait Towers to welcome fans interested in joining this unique journey, and run towards Marina Mall.
As part of the sponsorship benefits, Burgan Bank’s employees will enjoy a 25% discount by Aymstrong Enterprises for their upcoming programs, which include the Kuwait Weight Loss Camp as well as the Fitness Camp. At the fitness camp, the bank’s staff will have the opportunity to attend three times a week to lose weight through group training sessions and weight control management. A fitness Day will also will be organized for the employees of the bank at the Australian College of Kuwait.

I have known Mark for a while now and it is very hard to say few words about him, i would need to write a book at least.
About two years ago when I established Aymstrong, I met Mark and planned to do some projects with him in Kuwait, and i remember i got a little scared to take an international step in Aymstrong. And he told me not to worry and to push my boundaries an extra mile.
Pushing the boundaries is an important thing i learned from him, it helped me stay hungry for more and not to stop at the first right answer. We tend to get comfortable easily and seek the feel of security. It is our nature to do so and it is not wrong to seek comfort. But, to become an entrepreneur you need to push your limits and i can say that Mark is one of the people who have taught me the practical way of entrepreneurship and risk-taking.
